So all of us (but mostly Corch and Union), get frustrated at the players for various reasons, and complain about their seasons/production/etc. Let's see how, as of now, some of the players that have been up and down are actually projected to finish the year if they stay healthy.
Correa:
23 HR 76 RBI 96 Runs .269 AVG .773 OPS
If he maintained that while playing top-3 defense at SS, would you complain?
Bregman:
20 HR 83 RBI 89 Runs .313 AVG .867 OPS
It's certainly not his 2019 season, but it's a very good year.
Tucker:
33 HR 93 RBI 106 Runs .233 AVG .767 OPS (17/17 SBs)
While playing underrated defense and good basestealing value.
Altuve:
20 HR 69 RBI 99 Runs .311 AVG .819 OPS
Even with missing some time due to the COVID thing, he's on pace for 20 HR and probably 100 Runs while hitting over .300 again. And his defense has been back to average at worst (if not slightly above-average). It would be nice to see him steal some more bases.

But I haven't looked at any stats to back that up....

I think he's right about average at defensive runs saved.

So are you disclaiming his above average defense WAR rating with your Corch eyes.... The ironic thing, I was using my Corch eyes (no stats backing my opinion) and seeing Altuve's defense being above average.

With my eyes, I feel like his throwing is better and his range is at least what it normally is. However, mostly it feels like he has had some tricky plays over the last few weeks that he has handled very well.

Sometime his throws still leave a lot to be desired. I would rate him slightly above average right now and I don't need to know his WAR, defensive runs saved, or how many times a day he takes a leak.

I was glad to see him be smart enough to make that throw on a hop to Yuli last night instead of trying to do it without the bounce. The bounce that Yuli was able to field cleanly is why they got the out. Overall, I don't think his range is what it once was, but, he gets the job done. After his throwing screw ups in the ALCS last year, it is obvious that he worked hard to correct the problem. I was very glad to see him "hitty de home run" in the first inning last night. I just wish we could understand what the hell he says in interviews.

I didn't see any projections for Yordan or Brantley. I wouldn't waste time on Maldonado or Straw. It would be discouraging to see them. But, seeing a projection for Maldonado would lend more evidence as to why Castro should be getting a lot more playing time.

I didn't put them there since they've mostly been pretty good all season until recently. Brantley:10 HR 50 RBI 83 Runs .305 AVG .801 OPS Yordan:23 HR 86 RBI 93 Runs .310 AVG .869 OPS Both of their power is down from what we would tend to expect, but obviously still good seasons.

Seems as if most of our power numbers are down with Tucker being the exception. I can see Tucker getting 30 homers and I expect his BA to end up higher than .233. At the beginning of the season, I thought he was capable of hitting between .280-.290. We need more home runs from Bregman and Yordan. Did you do a projection for Yuli?

What's interesting is that they all have more runs than RBI. Who is driving them in?
