I always enjoy college baseball, especially one the regionals start and on through the College World Series. If these hitters we have....like Straw....who can't bunt, would watch some Texas Longhorn games, and, see how these players execute the bunt, they might eventually figure it out. The Texas coaches have drilled bunting into these guys and they have learned it well. Texas does a good job of "small ball' plus having some power. They have fast players who can take advantage of the bunt. I wonder how many more runs we would score and how many more games we could win if we had players who could and would bunt when the situation called for it.

There’s a YouTube video of Mickey Mantle teaching people how to drag one for a hit. If Mickey freakin Mantle can bunt, anyone should adopt that in their skill set.

Mickey was the expert at the drag bunt. You don't think of a switch hitter with over 500 home runs bunting, but, he did. I saw him execute the drag bunt to perfection on many occasions. It's a shame that the large majority of today's managers and players don't seem to think the bunt is important.
