Little league started their regionals this week. Tx East was the favorite to many to make it to Williamsport. They threw a complete game shutout striking out 16 batters to win their first game. Then came yesterday, due to covid they got kicked out of the tournament. Tx E, Oklahoma and Mississippi got kicked out due to 1 positive test on each team. My heart breaks for those kids. Their dreams got shot due to a covid test. What is crazy is that Little League would not let them retest to see if it was a false positive. Sad.

Hey abregmanfanI remember you mentioning you and family went to Taylor MI a few years ago to watch your son play in the Juniors. Taylor North was in the LLBWS final this year. They won over Hamilton, OH, 5-2 |

Hey abregmanfan I remember you mentioning you and family went to Taylor MI a few years ago to watch your son play in the Juniors. Taylor North was in the LLBWS final this year. They won over Hamilton, OH, 5-2 That is awesome. I watched that today and not the Astros. Good thing is those boys should get to play in their own back yard next summer! |

I only saw a little bit of that game. I'll tell you one thing, though. If MLB wants more offense, they need to hire these umpires. Gigantic strikezone. lol

Taylor North is the first team from Michigan to win the LL WS since 1959.
The Tigers welcomed them to Comerica Park this afternoon and the Tigers players each spent a little time chatting and autographing bats, balls, etc. The team was provided with seats for tonight's Tigers game.
btw, the Tigers play the A's tonight, so hope for a Tigers win.
