Sorry this film is bogus. Gattis would have drifted or wandered off the Tee Box in the wrong direction.

He's creeping back up to respectability. On pace for 14 HR and 50 RBI, and his OPS is up to .648. Still not good, but he's come along way recently. Over the last week he has an OPS over 1.100.
He's almost caught up to Gurriel in OPS and he has passed Marwin.

Gattis is now on pace for:
25 HR 78 RBI a .762 OPS (113 OPS+)
He has an OPS of 1.064 over the last 28 days.
I know most people were pretty down on him as a DH, but those are getting to be pretty good numbers. Not Edgar Martinez, obviously, but pretty good. And he's still trending upward. If history is any indication, we can expect another 20 points or so to the OPS and AVG.

I have to admit that he is earning the DH role on the team. He’s doing a great job.

I'm going to be very curious to see what type of market he has with free agency. You know what you're going to get offensively by now. He can play mediocre at best 1B, C, and DH.
I almost feel like we should try him for a 2-year deal $10 mil and I bet he takes it.
