Base was open against their best hitter. No big deal. Just another loss.

Horrible game. Horrible strategy. Tried not to rag on Dusty, but pitching to Pérez cost them the game. Idiotic.

I don’t want to hear any crap about “easy schedule”. This team finds ways to fail constantly. Nobody blows more games to last place teams than we do. Garcia blows the first two guys away in the 8th and then gives up three hits on three shit pitches for two runs. The second run scored because we just gave the runner second base. If not for that shit, Castro's home run would have tied the game in the 9th. The Royals just plain outplayed them. They bunt, steal bases, get clutch hits. We give them bases by not holding runners on and the runners score runs. We made many outs on hard hit balls. The first two outs in the 9th were hard hit. Garcia was great for two hitters and then did an Odorizzi impersonation.

Don't you ever get tired of defending the idiot? He had a rested pen..........Taylor, Baez, Stanek, Graveman, and Pressly ALL ready to go. Stanek pitched to ONE guy yesterday. The rest should be ready. Leaving Odorizzi in was just plain stupid, We should have had the lead, but, our second brain fart of the night on the bases kept the game tired. Chas made a mistake Little Leaguers are taught not to do. You DO NOT run on ground balls in front of you unless forced to........The dumbass cost us the leading run. I do not get tired of defending Dusty. Until we have someone who could do a better job, I will stand with him. Glad to see someone else took over the dumbass club. An inmate in the Rusk State Hospital would be as good a manager as this idiot. If you want to look dumb too, keep sticking up for the clown.

Don’t the Royals realize that nobody sacrifice bunts or steals bases anymore? So old school. So beneath the elite thinkers of today. This elite manager we have was supposed to be old school. We don't believe in bunting or stealing bases. Our pitches don't waste energy holding runners on base. We swing for the fence no matter the situation. At least we didn't let the A's pick up a game......they lost to the White Sox 5-2. Our highlight was seeing Jose and Carlos start hitting the ball.

Dusty reports Yordan had an upset stomach and will see the doctor.
Dusty did not consider walking Perez in the 8th and is making his usual excuses for not doing it. The idiot also said they tried to "hold them close" to the bases on the steals. LMAO I am glad these reporters are asking him the necessary questions to see what kind of excuses he would have for the baserunning, not intentionally walking Perez, and why Jones pinch hit for Yordan. He had a good reason for using Jones if Yordan was sick. If he was asked why he let Odorizzi go out to start the 6th, I missed it.

I disagreed when Hinch refused to walk hitters in certain situations. Common sense said not to pitch to Perez in the 8th,but, the fool did it anyway. He also called Chas' brain fart on the bases "a rookie mistake". Hell, kids are taught not to do that in Little League. Saying bunting and stealing bases "is their game" and then not holding runners on base shows more lack of preparation.

He was trying to save Jones from an out at home.

Good sign tonight.......Altuve and Correa both with two hits and Carlos had a BOMB. Now, if Dusty doesn't let Odorizzi blow it. He let Odorizzi blow it.

And, the old fool leaves Odorizzi in to give up the game tying home run and then comes to get him. Dusty CANNOT manage pitchers. Dusty has a bullpen to worry about. He can’t help if this dude sucks ass. He didn’t beg Click to sign him. The role of that bullpen is to come into the game when your starting pitching sucks dick.

Yes. The problem started when Dusty sent Odorizzi back to mound to start the 6th and he gave up a home run. Then, Dusty pulled him. Garcia blows the 8 and 9 hitters away. Then made bad pitches to the next three and gave up two runs. NONE of them bothered to hold runners on so Castro had no chance at throwing any of them out.

Click came from Tampa Bay where they had "bullpen days" in some games rather than using a starter. Until Urquidy can return, we may need to skip Odorizzi and have bullpen days ourselves. He can't seem to give us over five innings and he sucks two out of every three starts. I understood why Click signed him at the time, but, he is proving to be a waste of money. We see why he was still available when we got him. I wish we could send him back. Most of the outs he got last night were on hard hit balls. It is time they need to wake up and realize Odorizzi is just awful.

They need to concoct an "injury" for Odor and send him home.

No, but they can pitch 3 or 4 when Odorizzi has pitched like shit for 4 or 5 innings but the offense has gotten you a slim lead.

Too bad he had to be Odorizzi and give up a hit that left the yard. Urquidy can’t come back soon enough.

The offense overcame the shit be put up in his five innings and had the game tied. Dusty sent him back out to give up a home run and then pulled him. He had sucked for five and got away with it so why did Dusty press his luck by keeping him out there? He had a rested pen to cover the last 4 innings. He got a good job from Maton who came in after Odorizzi. Stanek gave up one created when he allowed a runner to steal second base because he ignored him. Garcia came in, got two easy outs, and then threw three horse shit pitches and gave up two runs and three hits mainly because he allowed Garcia to pitch to Perez. Put Perez on and then bring in Graveman, who should have been in for the 8th in the first place. Dusty's excuse for not walking Perez ws that "Santana is a great hitter". He isn't bad, but, Perez had been their big RBI guy all season. It was stupid to let him beat us.

Here is Dusty the Dumbass saying why he pitched to Perez:
Baker says pitching to Perez was the right move
Perez, who leads the Royals with 77 RBIs, came to the plate with runners at second and third base and two outs in the eighth inning of a tied game, but Baker said he didn’t consider intentionally walking him to face Carlos Santana with the bases loaded.
“If you’ve seen Santana over the years, this guy’s been a clutch man for a long time,” Baker said. “It’s easy to look back now and say, [‘Walk him’]. We got some charts and stuff that shows what the chances are of somebody hitting somebody and Perez, I don’t think, had ever faced Garcia.”
Perez reached out and slapped a 90.9-mph slider that was off the plate and floated it down the right-field line to score Whit Merrifield and Nicky Lopez.
“[Garcia] got two quick outs and then they got three two-out hits in a row, and that was a good pitch,” Baker said. “Sometimes, guys just hit a good pitch, and that pitch was off the plate and he hit a broken-bat flare down the line.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, the old fool based his decision on what Santana has "done over the years". LOL LOL They had "charts and stuff". LOL LOL Those charts could have been put to better use if Dusty wiped his ass with them. Sometimes you just use common sense. You DO NOT pitch to the guy who is currently their best clutch hitter and RBI guy. What Santana has done over the years didn't mean a thing in that situation.
