This is what I hate about analytics. You’re a slave to the spreadsheet and don’t use common sense strategy. The result was deserved.

This is what I hate about analytics. You’re a slave to the spreadsheet and don’t use common sense strategy. The result was deserved. Analytics is used to tell them how to use that damn shift that keeps costing us runs. They opened up a hole on the left side last night......Odorizzi hung a pitch on the outside part, and, OHearn singled right through where Correa would have been and drove in a run. I hate that shift and wish it could be banned. It does as much harm as it does good. Common sense is becoming a thing of the past. It's whatever the analytics or metric shit says to do. Dusty used it and lost the game...dumbass. |
