Morton against Clevinger.
Man it would be nice to wipe them out this series after that business with Bauer. Just really make them look horrible...
Unfortunately we're at home so I'm expecting 2 runs again at most.
Admin edit: changed date because Saint is a big dummy.

Actually I think today is an off day and the game will be tomorrow. So time to break out those DVDs of Games 5 and 7 from the WS Baseball withdrawal can be a serious medical condition. Right now, the Astros need to show that they won't go down the path of the 1980 and 1986 Astros, i.e. have great pitching that gets them to the playoffs but then falter in the DS or CS due to lack of hitting. Virtually all of us agree that there are obvious things that can be done to improve the offense and calling up Kemp was a start in that direction. We might split hairs over the remaining details such as: Who to call up next (White/Davis/Ferguson/Tucker)? and Who to put on the DL (Sipp/Smith/Giles)? or whether to send Fisher to AAA... but the general idea of what needs to be done is pretty well agreed upon.

Luhnow and Hinch have a degree of loyalty that is admirable in some ways. Not sure if I agree on this way.

I know Baseball withdrawal is bad, today I will go throw BP to the local legion team, then go on the 10 day DL.

More good news. Halos lose 7-1. Their pen gives up 5 in final 3 innings. Offense musters up only 3 hits at home.
Lead is now 2 1/2.

Yeah, I didn't realize until earlier how tough our upcoming schedule is. 4 against Cleveland, 3 against the Yanks & 4 against the Red Sox. I'd be happy if we can go 6-5 in those 11 games.

Our schedule for May is the toughest of the season. If we have a winning record, we will be OK

As a gun owner fighting for the second amendment, and see another school shooting it is sad to see. Again a kid that leaves troubling signals on Facebook, then is spotted wearing a trench coat in 90 degree heat before in incident.

This terrible shooting will cause another liberal attack on the second amendment. One of my former baseball players has a son who pitches for the Santa Fe baseball team. Talked to him and they are all safe. Sadly, the death count is now at 10

It's almost as if the bad guys are sending their 'assets' out to do horrible things to distract from the Inspector General's report that is coming out in the next few weeks... which will make Watergate look like a walk in the park. Of course they realize that if the bad guys do, somehow, manage to get back into power, they will need a gunless society because otherwise the people would never tolerate them. Understandably, these school shootings tug at people's heartstrings (they are designed to), but all too often the public doesn't take time to understand who cultivated these gunmen/assassins to do what they did.

This is what is going on with those people www.scribd.com/document/371877892/95-Mkultra?secret_password=UAxpirhgS682Bzhn8Ycr#from_embedAnd that was the state of the 'program' in 1977. It's gotten a lot more sophisticated and effective since then. A very effective tool for political types who have a long-term goal of repealing the Second Amendment. And so well-hidden, it might actually be successful one day.

apparently Reddick was a late scratch from the lineup due to a left leg irritation (whatever that means). Fisher in RF, Kemp in LF

These school shootings (Parkland, Columbine, Sandy Hook, Santa Fe...) are designed to make the public clamor for restrictions on gun ownership by appealing to their natural human sympathy for the victims. It's an effective and sly program of manipulating public opinion. Right now the politicians leading the crusade for gun control are those trying to get back into power after failing to win the 2016 elections, which they thought they had in the bag. If not by actually convincing enough people to vote for them, then by rigging the system through ballot stuffing, ballot destruction, tampering with voting machine software (Diebold), allowing non-citizens to vote illegally, etc. They are running scared now because the new administration is exposing their crimes, of which election fraud is just a very (and comparatively insignificant) part. The two pieces of news coming down the pipe that the orchestrators of the Santa Fe incident are trying to distract the public from are: 1) Justice Dept is about to release information on Obama's "Fast & Furious" program, which was a program to give assault weapons to drug gangs like MS-13. The stated rationale of the program (which sounds absurd on its face, and was) was to track where the weapons go using high-tech RFID chips or similar, and thereby discover where the bad guys are dong business. As it turns out, many of those weapons ended up on U.S. streets and were used to kill people, mostly people of color incidentally. MS-13, the Mexican drug cartel, was one of the main recipients of the guns. It also turns out that MS-13 was being hired by the Obama/Clinton group to do hired killings of their political enemies. The gun tracking program was never intended to go after the bad guys, but simply arm gangs that would create social/racial chaos and perform targeted killings for the Washington/Chicago elite. mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKCN1GJ2KH?2) The Inspector General has released his report on FBI and Dept of Justice corruption to the Congress, with the word coming from the White House that the public will be able to read this report in 3-4 weeks' time. The report shows that Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Lynch, and several other Obama-era appointees at the FBI and Justice Dept worked with corrupt members of congress and allies in Great Britain, New Zealand, Germany, and France to prevent Trump from being elected. (This is against the law - the Executive Branch is not allowed to interfere in elections.) When they failed to do that, they continued to try to prevent Trump from being sworn in during the period from election day 2016 until inauguration day in January 2017. After they failed to do that, they conspired to impeach Trump. A part of their group even laid plans to assassinate Trump. Very, very illegal and very unbecoming of a federal employee. www.westernjournal.com/report-inspector-general-to-announce-obama-doj-broke-law-in-clinton-email-probe/Basically, some of Washington's most vocal proponents of gun control are the ones who were giving guns to drug cartels and to use them against their political enemies, including properly elected officials. Now they have to divert the public's attention from that information by making them think that gun violence primarily comes from juvenile delinquents and that the solution lies in removing guns from the people so that they can no longer serve as a check on government corruption as the Constitution intended. Unfortunately, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, Fox, etc. are all complicit in helping the bad guys pull the wool over the public's eyes.
