Astros are 78-54 and 5 games up on the A’s.
A little over One month left or 30 games left. Finish strong! A 17-13 finish gets us 95 wins, which should be enough to take the division.

ROSTER MOVES
Sept. 1: RHP José Urquidy (right shoulder discomfort) activated from IL
Urquidy, who hasn’t pitched for the Astros since June 29, will return to the rotation and start Friday’s series opener against the Padres in San Diego.
Sept. 1: RHP Enoli Paredes recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land
Paredes rejoins the Astros for the first time since June. He’s posted a 6.23 ERA in 8 2/3 innings in 12 games with Houston this year, walking 17 batters. He could be sent back down on Friday to make room for outfielder Chas McCormick coming off the injured list.

Somebody has to go when Chas is activated by Friday unless things change. I also expect to see Marwin Gonzalez come up to replace Robel. |
