Yordan is struggling in LF today...almost like he should be DHing instead of a utility player. Great throw and tag by CC/Maldonado.

Yuli’s second brain fart led to Tucker sacrificing himself to keep the score tied. Lord.

This team is headed for a quick exit from the postseason if they keep blowing it at advancing runners.

Great to see the outfield looking sharp.

Great job by Chas insuring that Maldonado isn’t the freebie runner on second to start the bottom of the 10th.

Why do we always do the “infield in” crap instead of the intentional walk?

We didn't give up much for him but he sure stinks so far. Yikes.

Does Yimi deserve a postseason roster spot?

Yuli is like Mike now. He has to swing early for any chance at a home run.

Does Yimi deserve a postseason roster spot? HELL NO. Click dropped a big turd trading for him. I fail to see what about Yimi impressed him to give up De La Cruz to get him.

Why do we always do the “infield in” crap instead of the intentional walk? Because we have a retard managing the team. There is no manager in the game close to being as stupid as this idiot.

I missed all of the game except the last two innings. After seeing some replays, we gave the game away with dumb baserunning and lack of clutch hits. But, since we are playing the worst road team in baseball we decide to make them look like contenders. Dusty puts Marwin in as DH two games in a row which makes no sense at all. He was signed to keep us from having to use Robel or Wilson, not to DH. Some of Dusty's lineups are simply inexcusable. He could have used Yordan to DH and had solid OF of Chas, Meyers, and Tucker. But, he chose to play Yordan in LF instead of DHing him. I repeat.....if we win a damn thing in the post season it will be in spite of having this certified idiot as manager. He proved over and over before we hired him that he could not get the job done in the post season. We will have to overcome his incompetence.
After watching replays, Yuli was the best player the Dbacks had tonight. Dusty also announced he never considered pinch hitting Diaz for Marwin. Framber is going to pitch Monday in LA.

It’s just not working out.

The inability to advance runners and the continuous idiotic baserunning don’t bode well for the postseason.

The inability to advance runners and the continuous idiotic baserunning don’t bode well for the postseason. Either we have no baserunning coach or we have several players who are just clueless when it comes to recognizing what or what not to do when running the bases. Chas made a horrible blunder tonight on misreading a hit ball. Yuli just flat had his head up his ass. His baserunning and fielding error were killers.

Ok refugees. I know we all get frustrated with watching our team make mental errors and lose to teams we should be blowing away. Some of us get frustrated with Dusty playing Marwin more than we think he should or not playing Meyers as much as we think he should. Some of us get frustrated when Dusty uses any relief pitcher other than Stanek, Graveman or Pressley.
It is time to chill. This team is right where they need to be at this time. Six games ahead of the A’s for the AL West division championship with fourteen games to play. Four games behind the Rays for best record in the AL and a first round matchup against likely the red hot Blue Jays. Three games ahead of the ChiSox for home field advantage in a first round matchup with them.
Decisions will have to be made as to which players to include on the playoff rosters. Who will be the outfielders? We have Tucker, Brantley, Meyers, McCormick and Siri to choose from. We can’t have them all on the playoff rosters. We have Yuli, Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Diaz and Marwin to choose from. Is Marwin worthy of a spot on the playoff roster? We will need more than just Stanek, Graveman and Pressley in the bullpen in the playoffs.
Right now Maldonado, Castro, Yuli, Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Diaz, Brantley, Meyers, Tucker, Alvarez, Greinke, Framber, Urquidy, McCullers, Luis Garcia, Stanek, Graveman and Pressley should be locks for the playoff rosters. The rest of the guys are competing for the remaining 7 roster spots. Those guys need to get as much playing time as possible for the rest of the regular season so that the geeks and coaching staff can put together the best possible playoff roster.
So let’s chill and let the geeks and coaching staff do their jobs.

So let’s chill and let the geeks and coaching staff do their jobs. Among the outfielders, I keep them all except Siri. We don't need more than 12-13 pitchers. I'd go with McCullers, Valdez, Greinke, Luis Garcia, Urquidy, Pressly, Graveman, Stanek, Taylor, Raley, Maton, Javier, and Bielak. NO Odorizzi or Yimi Garcia. Yuli, Altuve, Bregman, Correa, Diaz, Alvarez, Maldonado, and Castro. Marwin has to be left off unless someone is injured. Marwin is better defensively than Diaz, but, Diaz is the best hitter of thet two.....or he should be. He has looked awful of late. I don't see the need for more than 12 pitchers because we won't use five starters and one of those will go to the pen. I expect them to take 13, but, I'd rather have another position player.
