Yuli is getting the day off today with Diaz at first base......not bad, but, I wish Dusty wouldn't hit him second in the lineup.

I would leave Chas and Yimi off the roster. That’s all I know. If they keep Yimi, make him a righthanded specialist so to speak. They need to make a decision on Odorizzi. If he’s not ready, leave him off and replace him with Javier.

Has Dusty every posted a Line Up you didn't complain about Once in awhile. LOL Diaz is not a good #2 hitter. He insists on keeping the guy who is the best hitter in the AL over the last 90+ games down in the order. Tucker should not be hitting 6th in this lineup.

Yep. Then, the guy you wanted to leave off the post season roster hit the game winning home run.

Yep. Then, the guy you wanted to leave off the post season roster hit the game winning home run. It’s not an easy choice, but the people who can play outfield are: Álvarez, Díaz, Tucker, Siri, Meyers, (Marwin) González, and McCormick. You can’t use them all.

No,but Meyers, Alvarez, and Tucker are automatics. You forgot Brantley. McCormick gets my vote over Siri. Marwin is considered a utility IF as is Diaz. I would leave Siri and Marwin off. But, my guess is Marwin was signed to be on the post-season roster. I don't think we need 13 pitchers. I would go with 12 pitchers and 14 position players.

Bielak is in Sugar Land.
If, after hitting near or over.300 for nearly an entire season, Diaz loses his spot to that hack Marwin, then I hope Dusty and Click get fired.

If NL games happen, I feel comfortable with Yordan in a PH role if our other OFers are healthy.

Depends on who is pitching as to whether I put Yordan in the OF. If Framber of McCullers is pitching, I'd put him out there. We need his bat in the lineup whenever possible. Next time you know........talk to.......you know.......Dusty.....Tell him.....you know.....he's an ......you know.......idiot and He can kiss my......you know...ass.

I also don't like having his bat out of the lineup. How our other outfielders are hitting should play a part in whether he is out there or not. I just don't like having our leading home run and RBI guy getting one AB a game.

Diaz has earned his spot....he just needs to get his stroke back. He was hitting before going to the IL and hit well for awhile after his return. He just hasn't been good over the last two weeks or so. He needs enough AB's in the upcoming games to get his stroke back. Outside of a couple of home runs, Marwin hasn't hit. I think Dusty was an idiot to put him in the lineup as DH two games in a row.

Just like I didn’t want Graveman to supplant Pressly as closer because I thought that would be a disservice to the current hierarchy. If people want Marwin to replace Díaz on the postseason roster, he’s REALLY got to hit.

Ok refugees. I know we all get frustrated with watching our team make mental errors and lose to teams we should be blowing away. Some of us get frustrated with Dusty playing Marwin more than we think he should or not playing Meyers as much as we think he should. Some of us get frustrated when Dusty uses any relief pitcher other than Stanek, Graveman or Pressley. It is time to chill. This team is right where they need to be at this time. Six games ahead of the A’s for the AL West division championship with fourteen games to play. Four games behind the Rays for best record in the AL and a first round matchup against likely the red hot Blue Jays. Three games ahead of the ChiSox for home field advantage in a first round matchup with them. Decisions will have to be made as to which players to include on the playoff rosters. Who will be the outfielders? We have Tucker, Brantley, Meyers, McCormick and Siri to choose from. We can’t have them all on the playoff rosters. We have Yuli, Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Diaz and Marwin to choose from. Is Marwin worthy of a spot on the playoff roster? We will need more than just Stanek, Graveman and Pressley in the bullpen in the playoffs. Right now Maldonado, Castro, Yuli, Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Diaz, Brantley, Meyers, Tucker, Alvarez, Greinke, Framber, Urquidy, McCullers, Luis Garcia, Stanek, Graveman and Pressley should be locks for the playoff rosters. The rest of the guys are competing for the remaining 7 roster spots. Those guys need to get as much playing time as possible for the rest of the regular season so that the geeks and coaching staff can put together the best possible playoff roster. So let’s chill and let the geeks and coaching staff do their jobs. I like you more and more, with every post of yours I read.

I can see a use for both, but, I certainly would not keep Diaz off and use Marwin in his place. I don't favor having more than 12 pitchers for the post season.
