88-61 Division Lead: 6 Magic #: 8
Hopefully Framber's finger is fine. I'd actually prefer them give him another couple of days just to be safe. I expect an off day for Altuve or Bregman today with Marwin getting another start.

I’m thinking Altuve and Tucker get a day off with Diaz starting at 2B and Siri in RF.

Interesting lineup.......Siri leading off in RF. Tucker is the DH. Yordan in LF. Marwin at 2B with Altuve getting the night off. Chas in CF and no Meyers even though he hammered Angels pitching the last time we were there.

Chas in CF and no Meyers even though he hammered Angels pitching the last time we were there. Meyers has one at-bat against the guy who is starting for LAA. He homered in that one at-bat. I really thought they would give Tucker the night off and go with Chas, Meyers and Siri in the outfield. I guess they are trying to give Alvarez as much experience in LF as possible in preparation for the possibility of having to play him out there in games played in the NL city in the WS. I don’t think that will be necessary after this season. I think we will see the DH in the NL next season and beyond.

Things are going well for the Astros tonight. Tampa Bay won. ChiSox lost. Seattle leads Oakland in the 4th 3-1.

I would love for us to be in a position to not have to use any of our key pitchers against TB in the upcoming series.

Great game so far by the defense. We need to do a little better hitting the ball with runners on. Overall, I am pleased with tonight so far.

I like Chas. He may never be more than he is now, but he's a very solid player. You can tell he gives everything he's got.

Maldonado was a bit slow coming out of the batters box on that homer but I'll chalk that off to disbelief rather than showboating.

Big night tonight for Marwin, the "hack" who is stealing playing time from "more deserving players".LOL He got a big single that turned our 2-0 lead into 3-0 in the 8th. Then, he hacked a grand slam in the 9th. He ended up hacking in 5 of our 10 runs.
Great game by Framber. This was his best start in a long time. He got himself in trouble in the 8th by walking the nine hitter,Mayfield, on four pitches. He worked out of it, thanks to a good play by Correa, to leave the bases loaded. Four hit game for Correa and three hits for Yuli. Siri with a leadoff home run and Maldy with a three run shot in the 8th to give us a 6-0 lead and blow the game open.
