Just a little. The Lagares single was on a four-seamer at the very top of the zone. That's a pitcher's pitch so tip your hat to Legares on that one. Wong's fly out was on a changeup that was totally center cut. Definitely a mistake pitch. But it came after three perfectly located pitches. All three should have been called strikes. Two were. The very next pitch was also sorta fat. A hanging curve. Ohtani singled. Right about there in a close game you'd probably pull the pitcher. But with a 10-1 lead, you have the luxury of giving him a chance to clean up his own mess and maybe even get a QS. After the mound visit, he threw a slider at the top of the zone to Gosselin. Maybe a strike, maybe not. It was called a ball. The next slider was a fat cookie. Kaboom. On a non-Astros related note... I’m pulling for AJ and your Tigers to finish at .500 or better. They need to go 7-3 vs the ChiSox, Royals and Twins. Can they do it? I’m pulling for it too. It would tell MLB that he’s great regardless of scandal.

That's a tall order considering we have one more against Chicago today then three more in their park. Not out of the realm of possibilities though. As long as they continue to put in the work the way they have been in the the second half of this season, I'll be happy regardless of the outcome. We're currently missing two of the late-innings relievers we've depended on (Soto and Cisnero) but others have stepped up and made themselves noticed. This bodes well for next year.
