91-61 Division Lead: 8 Games Magic #: 3
Lance: 12-4 3.11 ERA (137 ERA+) 150 IP - $16 Million Cole: 15-8 3.03 ERA (142 ERA+) 169 IP - $36 Million
Obviously Cole is the better pitcher, but I'd say we're getting the better deal financially this year.
I would imagine Yordan is back at DH or gets the day off tonight with the amount of running he did yesterday.

I really like Garcia. Other than a couple back to back games at the end of July, the guy has been very consistent and rarely has a start where he doesn't keep us in the game. After his first start of the season, his ERA never got higher than 3.60. I don't think he'll win since nobody knows who he is, but on most years he'd be an easy ROY pick.

Lance has emerged as the ace of the rotation. He still has an inning in the game where his pitch count gets elevated which limits how far he can go into the game. Many were upset when they gave him the 5yr/$85 million extension, but, he is proving to be more than worth it. He makes about $20 million a year less than Cole and Greinke, and, is out-performing both. Luis Garcia is the guy I think has exceeded expectations in wins and innings pitched. He showed a lot of grit last night by going six scoreless innings when he was fighting to locate from the start. I hated to see him work that hard only to see Maton come in and cough up the win he deserved.

Final game of the series. Astros with a chance to sweep. This can mean just one thing. It’s crazy lineup Thursday!!
As I gaze into my crystal ball this is what I see;
1. McCormick gets a day off and Siri is in RF. 2. Yordan gets a day off. Tucker is the DH. Diaz is in LF. Meyers in CF. 3. Correa gets a day off. Marwin is at SS. 4. Maldonado at C. 5. Yuli at 1B. 6. Altuve at 2B 7 Bregman at 3B

He should be considered the fifth pitcher in the playoffs.

Altuve at 2B 7 Bregman at 3B That looks like something the old fool would do. Chas goes 3-5 saves the game with a throw to the plate besides saving other runs with great catches so expect the fool to rest him. I think Correa needs the day off and I'd rather have Marwin at SS than Diaz. Resting both Yordan and Correa would not be the smart move. Yordan needs to stay in LF, with Meyers in CF, and Chas in right.

My crystal ball says Dusty will get a 2 year extension. You need to shove your crystal ball up your ass. LOL Dusty needs to be sent home. If some other team is dumb enough to keep dragging his sleepy ass back to manage, that is a team we won't have to worry about. I am not sure who our best option is, but, I do know we don't need another year or two of this dumbass.

If they manage to win the WS who do you think will be Manager LOL If we win the WS, it will be in spite of Dusty.....not because of some of his managerial ability. He has never managed to get a team to the WS and his mishandling of his pitching staff is the main reason for it.

If Greinke doesn't start at least one of the first three games in the postseason (provided he is healthy), I'll eat Olpapa's hat.

OAK is beating SEA at the moment 3-1. If that holds true we'll lower our magic number regardless of tonight.

The only one with the day off is Yordan. Dusty probably gave him the day off to make it look like he made the right move in pulling him from last night's game when there was nothing wrong with him. Nothing mentioned on the team website about any injury to Yordan. However, getting him off his feet could be the right move to make.
