No one here seems to be concerned about the continued absence of the Astros offense for several games. Accepting the fact of hoping the A's win tonight so they can claim the team clinched. I would be more concerned about this team going into the playoffs playing the worse baseball they have played in a couple of years.
They haven't played Playoff Baseball since before the All-Star Game. This I find very disconcerting.

It’s not about tonight. It’s about the .500 ball they’ve been playing since the ASB. So then it's one of two things and there's nothing to be done about it: 1. They're just not that good after all. 2. They're really good and aren't playing at 100% for whatever reason but will hopefully kick it up in the postseason. |

This is not a championship caliber team for the reasons we have seen since the ASB and has been clearly evident over the last week. This is the team that we keep hearing is the best offensive team in the league while they continue looking like they don't give a damn. This will be an early exit from the post season. |

Whatever the case, if this crap doesn't end soon, they will embarrass themselves in the post season. |

Another big night for Dusty's boy, Siri. 0-3, 3 K's, and a three base error that created their first three runs and pretty much sealed the deal.

Outside of June and June, they're 57-49 this year. They've really been quite mediocre for a large part of the season.
