Reposting this below. Because the mongoloid is so predictable. Just as I predicted it is complaining about Maton tonight. Tomorrow it will be Dusty’s fault.
But last night you said it was the offenses fault. So which is it Dusty’s fault, or the offense, or something in the clubhouse, or Altuve’s base running decisions, or Odorizzi’s failure to go 6 innings, or Dusty’s boy Siri, or hating on Maton? Maton allowed two runners to reach which brought the tying run to the plate. He managed to get out of the mess he created by getting a ground ball. After doing this, if Dusty puts Odorizzi on the playoff roster, he's nuts. Personally, I might trust him more than I would Maton. Let me be clear.....I DO NOT think Odorizzi is a good pitcher who can be trusted to get out of crucial situations. He was not pulled in that kind of situation tonight. Dusty pulled him to stick it to him for mouthing off about the last time he was pulled before being allowed to qualify for a win. I'd give Dusty his due if he made the right move.......this one was only made Dusty look bad. At least, he knew not to send Maton out for the 6th. To allow Maton to be the winning pitcher in this game for getting ONE out after putting the tying run at the plate was a joke. |

Odorizzi’s contract had incentives in it with a lower base. I do not remember what the incentives were based upon but perhaps that has something to do with his missed starts, low innings, and reduced w-l record.
