Yuli will win the title and he has earned it. There is no telling how Dusty puts today's lineup together. We want see Siri because of a fractured finger. Maldonado has had two games off so he probably catches some today. McCormick will be in the lineup. They should have seen by now that Jake Meyers is the best defensive option in CF and he has started to get a few hits. He should have been credited with a single on the bunt last night.
We need for Bregman to find his stroke if he is going to help, especially since Dusty is determined to bat him third. Over the last two weeks, he is 5-46 and 2-20 in the last week. He has mostly hit popups and weak fly balls. Tucker is the leading hitter in the AL since May 2 with an OPS higher than Vlad Jr. or Ohtani, yet Dusty keeps him hitting 5, 6, or 7 Going by the numbers, Tucker should be in the three spot.
If they want to play Brantley in LF, he needs to be out there today with McCormick and Meyers. Give Tucker the day off since he didn't get the one he was supposed to have Friday due to Siri's injury.

Yuli is out of the lineup today......Marwin at first base. Bregman out with Diaz at 3B. What I don't get is keeping Tucker on his feet instead being the DH. He has Meyers as DH with Chas in CF and Tucker in RF. It makes no sense to DH Meyers.

And no Astro will be playing on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. 'Keeping Tucker on his feet' doesn't seem like much of an issue to me. YMMV. |

Tucker was out of the lineup Friday for a couple of innings before having to come in and replace Siri after Siri fractured his finger. I don't think Tucker being in the OF is a major issue, but, it made sense to DH him instead of having him in RF while keeping your best centerfielder as the DH. |
