Kiki and Schwarber are swapped, and JD, Renfroe and Verdugo are swapped for Boston.

Stuff like this is why Dusty doesn't have a WS ring and probably never will with this kind of lineup

You are a heck of a nice guy , maybe the nicest person here, but I just don't understand your position of letting Baker off the hook for any accountibiity for failure.

I don't see how we can blame injuries on Dusty. I believe if we had Lance we would win the Series.

I do think playing Maldonado is the dumbest thing I have ever seen, if that makes anyone feel better.

At some point the question is, does Dusty just not like Chas? It's almost like he only uses him when he has to. Meyers started the ALDS and only came out when he got hurt. Chas tears it up, and he's still finding ways to get an obviously lesser Siri in there. Even pinch-hitting for him last night with Diaz for some reason... Does he just. Not. Like. Chas.

Dusty, against all odds, has done great with the pitching choices, imo. I think using Lance was the right call in the ALDS, and I think he has pulled the right strings with the bullpen all postseason long.
But he is not maximizing his use of the lineup with Chas or with Castro. Maybe it doesn't matter in the end, but it just doesn't make sense. Just as it didn't make sense not utilizing Maldonado and Castro to their strengths during the regular season.

The fact we got to put up with several minutes of banter between Buck and Smoltz around his name being the same as a particular Apple interactive App already gives me indigestion.

For the record, all these games with righty pitchers this postseason, and here is Castro's line against righties this year: .263/.392/.525 .917 OPS
Obviously Sale is a tough lefty, but Castro would likely only face him once, twice at most, during the game.

The meme of the definition of insanity comes to mind. I had little doubt that Maldonado would be in there, but, why would the idiot have Siri instead of McCormick? His stupidity is mind boggling.

Chas was on mlb network awhile ago bragging on Dusty and saying he wants him to stay on as manager. LMAO. Why would Dusty not see that Chas has produced at the plate and is the best defender in CF? Siri has screwed up more than once in CF in the regular season and won't touch Sale.

I heard Dusty sya something about Siri's speed, but didn't they say earlier in the year that Chas was one of the fastest guys in our organization? Is Siri's speed so much better than Chas' that it outweighs his lesser hitting and defense?

I understand going with Maldonado. We have Castro for the later innings when we need to knock in some runs. As for Siri, your guess is as good as mine.

Chas has more major league experience, is a better centerfielder, and has proven he can produce with the bat. If he wants to utilize Siri's speed, let him pinch run late in the game. I think Chas is also a more intelligent player. I hope Dusty is right to have Siri out there, but, I'll have to see it to believe it.
