It is amazing how Framber could totally dominate the Red Sox in Boston and then look as awful as he was tonight. I knew it would be a bad night for him when he gave up the leadoff home run in the first. It got worse from there. He never should have been allowed to start the third inning.
It is time to either sit Bregman's ass or get him out of the three spot. All of this garbage about going R-L-R-L-R in the lineup is bullshit. Our left-handed hitters are the only ones hitting and Yuli is the only right handed hitter producing. Move Tucker up to third and move Bregman to sixth or, better yet, to the bench. Start Diaz in game 2. He can't be worse. Altuve, Bregman, and Correa are killing the offense while Brantley, Yordan, Tucker, and Yuli are the only ones doing the job. It wouldn't hurt to sit Chas and put
Siri in CF.
It's not time to panic, but, it is time to make some changes in the lineup. Dusty won't change a damn thing, but, it still needs to be done.

Seems there is no middle ground to most of this team. They are either in a funk or setting the world on fire.
But agreed with other previous posters..... Too early to count them out. But tomorrow is almost a "must win". Being down 2-0, and three to play in ATL will be almost too tough to overcome.

Manfred saying the roof will be open tomorrow night.  Manfred should not have the right to say if the roof is open or closed. That should be left up to the Astros. That idiot screws up everything he touches. So Manfred wants to make the fans experience temperatures in the low '60's with a 10-20 mph wind tonight, while the technology of roof for comfort's purpose goes unused? COB office just wants to take our crowd noise out of the equation. Shit like this is why the game is so f'ed up with bias. |

Wasn’t the roof closed yesterday? Sure helped our offense. In a best of 7, and WS no less giving any advantage to an opponent is not overblown or whining. This is for all the marbles bubba. Yeah, the offense needs to step up, but why give any other ground up to help the Braves. If the difference between winning and losing is the roof, then we don’t deserve the trophy. That’s 5 straight WS home losses. They need to give the fans something by which to be entertained. |

Tonight at end of game, temperature should be 60-63 degrees with gusty NW winds 20-25 mph., blowing in and hurting any hitting toward the Crawford Boxses. Not that that is cold, but I prefer 72. and probably does those paying to gazoo for tickets. Also don't you think our lineup profits better from the short perch than them? |

I think it has been years since ATL has played in MMP. Roof no roof. An open or closed roof isn't going to help us hit the ball or keep the Braves from hitting it If we want to use the roof as an excuse, it's a cop out. I don't think Manfred should decide if the roof is open or closed. I also don't think the roof has anything to do with the outcome of the game. Fact is our hitters have got to start producing. We are getting production from Brantley, Alvarez, Tucker, and Gurriel. The rest are currently no-shows.
As I thought, the only change in the lineup for game 2 is Siri in for McCormick. Tucker should be hitting third in the lineup. Dusty refuses to change anything.
