The pitching was what I was most concerned about coming in. When you get basically zero production from Bregman, Correa (wannabe 300 million man), Maldonado, and even Alvarez there is no path to winning. Maybe they'll surprise us all and sweep Atlanta 3 straight. But I doubt it. Atlanta has scored 13 runs in four games. And won three.

LOL Bregman pops up on the first pitch. Not even kidding anymore. He shouldn't be in the lineup tomorrow. He should not be in the lineup, but, you can bet any amount of money that Dusty will have him in there and hitting third. He's too stupid to do anything else. He has to see Bregman is killing this team and makes change.

I don’t care who starts at 3rd base anymore. It may be time to look for someone else at the position at some point. The past two years I’ve seen mediocre play from this guy. He looks unconfident, his defense took a step back, and hitting the gym hasn’t made him any more than just another pull hitter. He’s getting paid now too so it’s hard to overlook the average production now.

It all comes down not hitting in clutch situations. It is a team game, the ducks were out there stranded. Amen... tonght's biggest stat? 0-8 RISP. .000. Does everyone realize how hard it is to go 0-8 with (1) ptiching in the stretch (2) the series on the line? Paaaaaaaaaaathetic.

The relief pitching was unfortunate, but the lead was like a Jenga tower resting on one block the whole time.
Carlos is as good as gone, which means that without decent changes, the team will be just another AL West team soon after.

I am guessing CC's shitty postseason probably cost him $10-$20M over the life of his next contract......

I’ve defended the guy here a lot, but I won’t be as choked up for the guy abandoning the offense at the last possible minute. However, they’ve still got their red flags. Altuve has been reduced to a pull hitter with power; hitting for average is on the backburner and he’s not getting younger. Bregman we’ve all discussed is not the same player as before. They need more than Tucker as the consistent hitter because Yordan will take and then go MIA for weeks at a time.

The Braves’ pitching has been masterful. However, you’ve got to question how good our offense is when they’re neutralized by such an obvious strategy of pitching mainly inside to righties and outside to lefties. It isn’t rocket science, but these guys look shocked when it continues to happen.

Leaving the ALCS I thought he had a decent chance to set the world on fire. Instead the Bravos poured a drum of icewater over him.

Reason: The Braves hunger, being new on the stage, and our complacency.

NOT my point, and you know it. What was it then? Overall team batting average of .187 though 4 games might have something to do with it. We have collectively sucked.

Overall team batting average of .187 though 4 games might have something to do with it. We have collectively sucked. Tucker is hitting .333 and Brantley .353 in this series. The rest are all under. 250, although Altuve has been productive in spite of his .222 BA. Bregman is hitting .071 while staying in the three spot. Cprrea is only 2-14, but, to see some of the posts here, you'd think he was solely responsible for this team only scoring a total of FOUR runs in the three games we have lost. That amounts to 4 runs in 27 innings. One player isn't responsible for that, but, Carlos gets most of the blame because he is a free agent and wants a long-term deal.

Maybe should have left Greinke in, definitely should have left Maton in, removed Yuli, didn't remove Maldonado...Dusty not looking good tonight at all. The mistake started with thinking Marwin could do what the better hitters could not, and Greinke also had a hit.

I am guessing CC's shitty postseason probably cost him $10-$20M over the life of his next contract...... The postseason is not the only problem CC is going to run into, it is going to be the number of good Shortstops on the market this offseason. There is only so much money to go around. This group is not going to have the luxury Lindor was working with last off season.

................but there could be a three game window for CC to increase his stock. Just go back to the 2018 World Series MVP Steve Pearce and 2019 MVP Stephen Strasburg, they played it to the hilt for big contracts and both fell off the cliff.
