Good run, guys. Get a SS and build up the pitching. Let's try and do it again next year!

This series doesn't prove Swanson is a better player......he isn't. Correa is catching hell mainly because he is a FA who wants a long term contract. What are you using to say Correa is over-rated? He is no more over-rated than some other guys on this team who haven't done shit in this series. I am using his batting avg, rbi, obp, everything. He needs to get on the first plane out of Houston. We can pay someone much less to play D. Correa hasn't hit shit. If he goes for not hitting in this series the damn plane he's on should be loaded. He is still twice the player as your boy, Breggie, who is 2-21 in this series as compared to Correa's 6-22. Correa has stayed on the field the last two seasons while Bregman has been AWOL. So, if one of them needs to go it needs to be the useless Alex Bregman. I would not give Correa more than 8 years/$240, but, I'd give him that. If he is not here, and, I predict he won't be, we will suffer both offensively and defensively.

Will Dusty stay or will he go? I think Correa will probably demand 10 years and we should NOT give it to him. I repeat.....WE SHOULD NOT GIVE CORREA A 10 YEAR CONTRACT. Some things I'd like to see in ST include teaching Yordan to play first base, and, try to bring Meyers along to be our leadoff hitter.

Correa is the only one wanting a record breaking contract.

He is the glue that holds the infield together, and, is a team leader.

I think Graveman has just little track record enough that we might be able to retain him with non-closer money (especially if he wants to stay with a proven winning franchise). I'd also like to retain Yimi Garcia and Brooks Raley.
Need a big starter though, even if JV comes back and is healthy.

McCullers will do as #2 starter. We need an ace. I don't care one way or another about Dusty. I just don't see the brilliance in him that some of you seem to. Yordan needs to learn to play first base. If Correa leaves, I would not oppose moving Bregman to SS and Yuli to 3B, his natural position. We could rotate guys being the DH. We are desperate need of another leadoff hitter who doesn't try to pull the ball on every swing.

That was classless, but, we have other guys who have drug their asses to first base, too. I didn't see many of them getting called out. What I kept seeing was how they were "protecting" their legs. ALL of them have drug their asses going to first at times.

We finally saw the results of having to work the same relievers over and over and over in this series just to try to stay in it. We got basically nothing from any of our starters with the exception of the four innings we got from Greinke in game 4. Our pitchers were under constant pressure not to give up runs because our offense was non-existent most of the time. The top hitters we expected to produce basically all shit the bed for the series.

I can't but think they mailed it in tonight. There wasn't one bit of fight and to get shutout in Game 6 is inexcusable.
Atlanta pitching is that good

To get shut out in an elimination game in your own ballpark is inexcusable. I expected a total effort. What we saw was a team mail it in after the Soler home run. I never thought we'd go down without a fight, but, I didn't see any fight from them tonight.

That was uncalled for, but, he immediately became a villain for doing it, mainly because of the crap with his free agent status. I have to wonder how many others would have been hammered for doing the same thing.

I have to wonder how many others would have been hammered for doing the same thing. He became a villain after disappearing since Game 1 of the ALCS. It re-emphasizes that he has a constant disappearing act like his counterpart Yordan.
