Korey Lee went 2-3 with a double, a home run and 2 RBI last night for Sugar Land. He has a 8-game hitting streak going in which he is batting.485 (16-33) with 3 doubles and 6 home runs.

J.C. Correa has tore it up this month so far; hitting .423/.452/.538 so far. This kid's contact skills are bonkers, BTW; he's struck out one time this month so far, and has not struck out 10 or more times in any month this season. In fact he has just 34 all season, and 36 walks.

Astros #21 prospect (per MLB.com) Shawn Dubin is finishing the season strong at AAA. He was injured and out of Sugar Land lineup from June 21 - August 16. Since returning to Sugar Land on August 17, he has made 7 appearances, tossed 20 innings, allowed just 2 earned runs, 11 hits, walked 6 and struck out 25.
In August he has made 4 appearances, pitched 12 innings, allowed no runs, 5 hits, walked just 2 and struck out 17.

Maldonado has been proven to suck but keeps getting chances. Espada has been proven to only not be hired as a manager despite the endless praise. Has Espada even managed in the minors? Time to see what we’ve got with the youngsters.
