Peyton Graham gone. Really surprised he lasted this long.
How is Brock Porter still available? He must have a strong college commitment scaring people away.

I want Jonathan Cannon. Sp from Georgia. He has an era under 1 in 3 cape code games. Wouldn't be the first arm I would go for, but certainly wouldn't be a reach at our next pick. Cape Cod performance is usually less important for pitchers than hitters. We should draft the Ditsworth kid.

Jacob Melton is still out there. Wouldn't be a bad idea at all to hedge with two polished college bats to start with.

Fabian, Toman, Whisenhunt, Melton still out there, wow. Toman doesn't have a true position. Not strong enough for 3b, too slow for 2nd

For some reason the TV broadcast announcements are way behind. Misiorowski to the Brewers, Astros picking now!

Melton:
MLB.com: "Melton has the chance to do some damage from the left side of the plate. He has an advanced approach at the plate and makes a ton of contact. He also has a good amount of juice to his pull side, and he’s tapped into that power even more in 2022, leading some scouts to think he might have better than average pop in the future. A plus runner, Melton can take the extra base and is an efficient basestealer as well. In 2021, Melton showed that not only is he capable of playing center and the outfield corners, but he saw a good amount of time at first base as well. He has a good chance of sticking up the middle now, however, with a strong enough arm for right should the need arise."
CBSSports: "Melton doesn't have DeLauter's or Jones' raw pop, but he has strong contact rates and some believe he's a swing tweak away from really discovering his power stroke. Milwaukee could pivot to a college arm, like Blade Tidwell or Oklahoma State's Justin Campbell, if there are no model-friendly bats available."
Fangraphs: "Melton is a tooled-up outfielder with a stiff, weird swing that has created some swing-and-miss issues exacerbated by his propensity to chase. He has a rare power/speed combo, at times laying down plus-plus run times, capable of hitting balls out from pole to pole, but a hole at the top of the strike zone and middling breaking ball recognition threaten to undermine it all."

We are having a solid draft. Wouldn't be surprised to see us add IF talent and Sp. I would love to land a solid LHP somewhere.

Now that we have to take a couple diamond in the rough players, to offset what we have to pay for the bigger names!

He was mentioned in the 1st round to the Astros. The Astros have nabbed two high ceiling OFs.... Very impressed
