I probably should my girls want no part of them. I used to play Warcraft with this chick I know who lived in CA. Her hubby died suddenly from cardiac arrest. For weeks, she was depressed and devastated. He’d left her a very, very large armory of firearms. When the depression got the best of her one night, she was feeling suicidal. She signed all the guns over to me. A few days go by, while she’s trying to find a way to get the guns shipped to me in TX from her in CA. She he gets crazy again, and calls the cops and tells them she is suicidal, in a home with dozens of firearms...and asked the San Diego PD to come get all the guns. The bastards took them all, and I lost them forever. The chick moved back to Australia and married a metal bassist. [br Those Calif. gun laws you are lucky to buy .22's. |

The last two innings reminded me of the game in Minnesota last year. Once Kluber was out, we were in control. We got to Miller and Allen. Altuve seems to be out of his rut. Gattis is hitting. The last two innings were unbelievable. I feel bad for Keuchel. He does a good job and they don't score until he is out of the game. In all fairness, Dallas seems to end up matched up aagainst the opposing team's ace most of the time. Two runs in 6 innings is something we can take every time. Now, let's win the series. I hope Bortaz noticed that Jake came in and got another hit.  Davis was snake bit......hammered the ball twice and got nothing. Doln't hit the ball to Lindor. |

I'm gonna miss Marwin next season. He's been an Astro for so long He may struggle but he’s been my boy for a long time through the bad seasons and the great ones. It’ll be sad to see him go. |

Maybe the balls were juiced last postseason. That's why everyone with HR power last season has warning-track power this season
That would explain Altuve, but everybody else seems consistent. I only got to see the first three innings of this game. Was maddening how Gattis and Springer gave Kluber two outs just by poor baserunning. Good to see the team pull it out at the end though. Even before the game, it seemed like the key would be getting to the bullpen. As to whether the balls have been de-juiced this year, one way we should be able to tell is by looking at the average distance travelled on fly balls throughout the league. If it's down significantly this year, that would tend to suggest that the balls are different. But we also have to keep in mind the dampening effect of the cold weather in April. |

Jake is what he is. An above average fielder and baserunner, who can show some random power at times, but is overall a below average offensive player outside of 2017.
He shouldn't start a game except for a random day off here and there.

I don't expect this pace to continue,but, hope he can at least get back to where he was last year and hopefully a little better. I will enjoy it while it lasts. The last two games have shown what our offense is capable of doing. The resurgence of Gattis is coming up big. |
