Literally ran into her about 1982 or so in Dallas. My brother and I were talking while exiting an elevator and I bumped into a tiny blonde as I exited. I excused myself and continued talking to my brother. We took about 3-4 steps and we both stopped simultaneously, realizing who she was. We turned and looked back to the elevator and she was leaned up against the rear wall, smiling. She gave us a little wave as the door closed. She knew exactly what had happened.

Grease was 1978. Christie Brinkley was the hottest chick of the 80s I was 4, and I knew Sandy was schwing? Totally awesome! I was 5. Grease was the first non-cartoon movie I saw in a movie theater. Sha-Na-Na was one of my favorite TV shows back then. They were the band at the dance. When I first saw Sandy transformed into black spandex, I remember thinking movies are really something. You can do anything with them

Sandy, at the last scene of Grease, was about the hottest chick in the 80s. Not even a close 2nd.... I dunno boys. Farrah Fawcett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Cindy Crawford, etc. Lots of great looking women. My personal favorites were Kelly Preston (RIP) and Susanna Hoffs (dark-haired singer for The Bangles) who gets my vote as the best looker of the 80's. Early 90's Jennifer Connelly had my attention. |
