We have 6 outs to put up 2 runs. I like our chances.

Just like the game winning homer Peacock gave up in Minnesota, his slider looks like no down ward movement and coming in on the same plane.

I can't stand Gattis. Garbage. That seems extreme. Didn't he just have three hits last night? He's at virtually the same level as Gurriel, McCann, and better than Marwin. You have to hate all of them too. :-P

You have to hate all of them too. :-P I don't think Gattis is better than Marwin. Marwin will pick up the pace and end up around .250-.260 this season while Gattis will still be around .225 to .240 at best.
And if being honest, Marwin having a down season is a win-win for us. Meaning we could resign him for less and he can continue being our utility player.

But over the last month he has an OPS over .800 and an OPS over 1.000 during the last two weeks. He's been climbing back up nicely.

He might. But right now offensively he is considerably worse than Gattis. With no recent positive signs.

And for their careers Gattis is a far superior offensive player.
