Today is still not that day. Altuve 2B Diaz LF Alvarez DH Bregman 3B Tucker RF Mancini 1B McCormick CF Vazquez C Hensely SS Hensley at SS is interesting This will be his second game started at SS since being called up. He has started one game at 3B. In a EXTREMELY small sample of innings played and total chance at SS and 3B with the Astros he has not committed an error and is batting .316 with a .856 OPS in 19 at bats. At Sugar Land this season he started 31 games at SS, 23 games at 3B, 22 games at 2B and 15 games at 1B and batted .298 with a .898 OPS in 379 at bats. I would think he is definitely under consideration as a replacement for A. Diaz or Dubon next season. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Hensley get more playing time at 3B, SS and some at 2B before the end of the regular season.

So Hensley is probably his successor. Dubon, might make the team, because of versatility and low price. I really hope the Astros can keep Verlander. Besides the fact that he is awesome, they could trade Garcia or Urquidy to get an OF.

Either one of Garcia or Urquidy would be better than any SP they have on their staff this year.

Could have been worse! They're coming out ultra aggressive against Urquidy. He needs to work the edges more.
