As bad as the Astros looked in games 1 and 2 of this series, if they win today, they go home with a 5-2 road trip against 2 playoff contenders.

It seems to me like Chas has regressed in his overall play lately. He got a solid hit, but he just isn't a good basestealer.

Chas is best suited for a 4th outfielder role. I think the Astros need to deal for a proven MLB center fielder in the offseason. I once thought they should deal for Mullins. Problem with that is the fact that the Astros will likely be dealing from their SP strength/depth. Now I’m thinking the last thing we should do is make a trade with Baltimore that would make their team pitching better. They already have the bats in place.

Chas can’t hit right handed pitching to save his life. When he gets a hit off a right hander it is a shock to me.

The same crowd who thinks Chas compares to Bryan Reynolds also thinks he’s a 4th outfielder.

I think everyone's in agreement Chas is, at best an OF-sub and not Brian Reynolds. If we brought up León, he could be relegated to that role. But the roster the way they've constructed it it's either Chas or Dubón, and no one likes Dubón

Chas is the poster boy for what a 4th OFer should be. He can play any OF position, he can pinch run, he's solid with the bat even if not amazing. If your OF is good enough that he is pushed into that 4th OFer role, you have a good OF.

León’s numbers say he’s a 4th OF and backup SS with power. Unless he evens those splits positively, there’s not too much the team can do with him at the major league level.
