Pete Alonso

I don't pay nearly as much attention to the NL as I used to, but I really like this guy Pete Alonso.  He reminds me of a young Jim Thome.

In just his first four seasons, he's going to be around 150 HRs already.  And that's with the shortened 2020 season.  If not for that, it's very likely he'd be up around 170-180 HRs and almost 500 RBI.

It's hard not to think what type of HR marks he could put up over the next decade if he stays healthy.  He'll only be 28 years old when next year starts.

I like him. I thought they should have brought him up a year or 2 sooner.

I think Alonso is a likable player. Dude is built like Sea Bass from Dumb & Dumber. Very relatable.

He is probably the last player I have seen that should have went to the show as soon as drafted. If not, the following year for sure.
