Astros regular season numbers vs Severino: Altuve: 2022 0-6, Career 4-19 Pena: has not faced Severino Alvarez: 2022 and career 1-2 Bregman: 2022 2-6 with 2 doubles, Career 3-14 with 2 doubles Tucker: 2022 and career 1-5 with a home run Gurriel: 2022 1-5 with a double, Career 6-17 with 2 doubles McCormick: has not faced Severino Maldonado: 2022 0-2, Career 0-9 Vasquez: 2022 0-1, Career 2-9 A. Diaz: 2022 2-5, Career 3-11 Dubon: 2022 and career 0-2 Hensley: has not faced Severino Mancini: 2022 0-5, Career 6-17 with a home run Mostly not good outside of Yuli and Mancini. Altuve has had success against him in the postseason...although we have no idea what to expect at this point.

I’m so tired of us facing Severino. It seems like he’s always there.

If Framber doesn’t throw him a fastball in the strike zone and doesn’t hang a curve and he shoUld be ok.

He needs to stay away from Stanton. If Framber doesn’t throw him a fastball in the strike zone and doesn’t hang a curve and he shoUld be ok. If anything, I think he needs more fastballs and changeups in the zone. He tends to poop himself when hitters lay off his curveball.

Only you would worry with us going 4-0 in the postseason so far. Are you refuting Ashitaka’s post about how they’ve been hitting? The postseason is different from the regular season with how the team is managed and how the strategies are. You're facing, mostly, the best pitchers the teams have unless they get exhausted. Our offense didn't do much against Seattle, but we also face their utmost very best options and did enough to win. And the offense yesterday was better than it looked. Judge robbed us of probably two early runs. If he doesn't catch that liner, it's likely a 6-2 game. That's not even counting the random great play by Stanton to rub Yuli of a double off the wall either. And all of the offensive numbers are down deflated more than they would be because of the historically-long 18 inning game where neither team could do anything for so long. In a longer span of games, that would balance out. It just hasn't yet because it's only been four games and that one was 18 freaking innings. What I WILL say, is that they have to try something different at DH. And they have to be willing to use Vazquez more often.

I was listening to I think 790 or maybe 610 earlier.... And they are rallying around Chas McCormick.... They think he's way above Dubon and Meyers... They love his energy and enthusiasm... They call him White Boy Chaz..
Let's Go WBC!

Everyone wants him to break out contrary to what you may think. Not Yankee fans. Sherwin was implying that I think HE doesn't want Altuve to do well. Which is silly, because we all know its Pena, Gurriel, Chas, Maldy, Dubon, Mullet, Urquidy, Valdez, Javier, Maton, Abreu,et al, that Sherwin doesn't like.

They call him White Boy Chaz.. Let's Go WBC! Again, other than striking out too much (like most players these days), what's not to like? He can play all three OF spots decently, he's an average to above-average hitter, he hustles, and he has a great disposition. Plus, he's hella cheap right now.

Altuve showed some signs last night. He was not swinging at crap out of the zone. If he can take that next step then he will be off to the races, just in time to drive the yankee fans crazy. Good thing it is a short trip.

Half the Yankees starting lineup has never faced Framber before. If he is on tonight, it should be interesting.

So it's tonight, skip a day, then three games in New York? Correct! Hope to go to NY up 2-0 and at the very least win 1 in NY. Head back to Houston needing to win 1 of 2 to advance. However, screw it just finish them off in NY!

I don't like the 2-3-2 format, but I don't have a better idea either... Long ago I read and article that suggested a 4-3 series.
