Well we are 6 wins into the 11 that we need. No need to stop now.

The last forecast that I saw said the heavy rain does not start until around 10.

Intermittent showers up to that point.

If McCormick keeps this up he may earn himself a starting role next year.

If your weakest link is a guy who hit the go ahead homer off of Cole that aint bad.

Brown looked a little weak last night, but my guess it was just nerves.

He seemed to be trying to over throw the ball.

I would not worry about Altuve, he is coming around

I also would not worry about Alvarez as he has been somewhat streaky this year. He will lock back in within a few games.

Thanks to olpapa's research it is easy to see that the yankees over their collective careers have hit less than 200 against McCullers and that sounds pretty good to me.

Their big hitters can not hit a good breaking pitch so if McCullers slider is sliding and his knuckle curve in curving the we will be winning.

This gambit of Thomas' reminds me of another one a long time ago. Seems like a poster got accused of "stealing" a record of some sort. What was that.

The WS is scheduled to begin on Friday. Rain in the forecast for NY each day through Wednesday. Games #4 and #5 (if necessary) scheduled for NY before heading back to Houston for games #6 (if necessary) and #7 (if necessary). With the WS starting Friday there is not a lot of wiggle room for getting the game(s) in at NY. If it is not coming a flood, game #4 should be played today. I suspect we are going to see our guys playing in the rain today.

Think about that. We're wanting to trade a pitcher to get a new CFer and our current CFer is possibly our ALCS MVP. Nothing makes sense. One of our best players is like 1/27, and Tucker and Yordan don’t know how to hit fastballs.

Looks like the wind will be blowing in from left field at 10-15 mph during tonight’s game. Not good for our pull happy right handed batters.

The humidity should keep some potential home runs in play tonight. With the wet conditions I’m hoping we see Alvarez at DH and not in LF today.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Dusty start his boy Dubon in CF with Chas in LF tonight.

This gambit of Thomas' reminds me of another one a long time ago. Seems like a poster got accused of "stealing" a record of some sort. What was that. Some Biden lover, living up North, drank some spiked Kool•Aid and ruined a rally thread for the Astros to win one previous season. Astros lost that season....that guy was never heard from again....well not at least from 3 days ago

forecast has changed somewhat, now there is a better than 50% chance of rain from 7-12. I doubt the game gets played today.
