Rob Fick was an All Star. What does it mean? That for at least one season he was among the best in baseball at his position. Or that each team has a designated representative.

Was Castro voted in, or was he the Astros token?

Was Castro voted in, or was he the Astros token? He was the token AND deserving. More so that Altuve in 2012. 🤗

Who was that MiLeague catcher we had who got sick and nearly died a couple years ago? Was that Stubbs? I can’t remember the guy’s name, but it wasn’t Stubbs.

I have seen him pitch several times. Well worth the pick. His mother is a long-time friend of mine. Got to see him pitch a playoff game and talk with him after the game......very well-mannered young man. The day I saw him pitch, I met one of the NY Yankee scouts......His mom said she had fixed dinner for about 20 scouts this year. He is projected at #22 to the Rockies. She also told me he wants to be drafted by an NL feam so he can hit. He is also a good hitter. 6'5" and around 225-230 right now.

I have a friend in the Royals system that says if Grayson falls to the comp. picks they will no doubt select him.

From what his mom told me, he would prefer to be picked by an NL team but I don't think it will bother either of them if he goes to an AL team. He signed with Texas A&M last year and really likes the Aggies, but, won't turn down money he would be offered if he goes in the first round and he probably will go in that round. The Yankee scout I talked to at the game I saw said they really like him but expect him to be long gone before they could pick him.

That will go a long way up in Central Heights.

She said he wanted an NL team so he could hit but I'm sure the Orioles' money will spend, too. I agree on the Orioles organization.......wish he had gone somewhere else......glad Arlington didn't get him and I knew he would be gone before the Astros had a pick

I need to do some research on Beer. I was hoping to get another good arm.
