I voted blasphemous. I think it's naive to think billionaire Crane pocketing a few extra million is going to lead to him giving out a lengthy extension that will cost him nine figures that he wouldn't have otherwise.

Right? Isn’t it enough that Oxy’s bigass billboard is out there on the tracks? What they charge for beer at Minute Maid Park, should more than enough pay for the nine figure salaries. I think I went to five regular season games last year and two playoff games... I would say tickets, merchandising, food and beer for the family, 5k+ for sure. |

It's bad enough that a family of four really can't afford to go to the park now they want to shove more ads down our throats. I never protested what a Player gets paid even though it is absorbed that is what the industry is generating in income so the Players should be compensated along those lines. That doesn't happen in the real world where a company is making millions/billions and the workers are paid a pennies in comparison. Without the workers, those companies would not be making that money.
