One thing that gets me is Maldonado he is supposed to be a great catcher calling games. He sees more pitches than any other player on the team yet he sucks as a batter. I would think we as many pitches he sees he should be able to recognize the pitch coming when he is batting. Yes, I know hitting a baseball is probably of the hardest things to do in sports. Still he should hit a lot better than he does.
