If dusty doesn’t pinch hit for Maldy he is legit senile.

Could have been there if Julks had just stayed at third on the lame bunt.

When I saw Julks do that, I was wondering if this team really needs to be in the postseason.

Need more than one, Tucker. He would’ve needed a triple to score Breggy.

Glad they won but just absolutely baffled about Maldonado. Literally cost us two runs all by himself because he can't even get a sac bunt down. All of the people that defend him for what the team tells them he brings on defense just ignore the fact that he literally costs this team runs with his bat.

Where was his behind the plate magic in the 8th inning? I thought he literally poops shutout ball.

I know Diaz is the future catcher of the Astros, so I was for packaging Korey Lee, along with other prospects, come trade deadline for a SP and reliever, but now I am for keeping him. I don’t want to see Maldonado behind the plate at all next year, so Diaz is the starter and Lee can be the backup.

They run wild on Meyers and a little less on Chas. Tucker’s arm is average.

If Abreu continues to struggle, find a way to ditch him and run with Diaz at 1B primarily and then as a backup catcher for Lee (who would then be the main catcher). Kind of like a reverse Realmuto.

That’s true. How about that Dubón? His defense saved us. He's a very solid utility player. Coming into this season I thought Dubon as someone to be cut. So far he has been a top contributor. I remember they mentioned he gained 15lbs of muscle in the offseason, but was there anything else that deserves the difference maker?
