looks like the Rangers are starting to falter. Too bad we do not have the horses to run this race.

He's a very solid utility player. Coming into this season I thought Dubon as someone to be cut. So far he has been a top contributor. I remember they mentioned he gained 15lbs of muscle in the offseason, but was there anything else that deserves the difference maker? Maldonado lost weight and made himself…not different at all.

I'm sure that has contributed to the success as well.

To me he always had value due to his strong defensive versatility. Kind of like a Bruntlett type. The respectable offense has been a bonus.

Also, thank you Detroit Tigers for beating the Rangers tonight. You're welcome! (as if I had anything to do with that.)

He's the kind of player who will have a fool's gold season and Astros will sign him to a bajillion dollar contract...and then he will revert to his norm and we are stuck with him for years.

You're welcome! (as if I had anything to do with that.) I root for Jake Rogers for the mustache alone. You might be disappointed. He shaved off the pornstar 'stache, recently. But I noticed he had a three-day full-face stubble last night, so maybe he'll grow it back, idk.

I don't think that will be the case with him. As good of a season as he is having, he's still just an average hitter at his absolute best. We have him for three more years before he is a free agent, and he would be 31 years old by then. I think it's more likely he ends up trade bait.

It would be a mistake for this season considering how often he’s stepped up for them. He almost hit homers in Toronto and Cleveland that could’ve led to wins and he’s done admirably well considering expectations.
