Left Morton in too long. Astros will finish 5-6 against Cleveland, NY, and Boston. People will say, “Don’t worry, those are tough teams to beat.” Aren’t the Astros the same thing?

Morton really only had about 80 pitches in him tonight. He might could use an extra day of rest before the next start.

The Astros have the potential to be WS champs again, but right now they are playing like a team that exits in the ALDS.

Astros have only lost by 5 or more runs once this season. Looking like they are heading for the second.

In the end, we're all upset over a team on pace to win 99 games. I for one am worried about the team simply not looking like the team that beat the Dodgers last year. They had downtimes last year too.

They're a good team with some flaws. Some bad breaks and some bad bullpen showings or else they would have had a nice showing during this tough stretch.
They should have a nice run in June to get things right before the all-star break. Hopefully add a reliever and a hitter to rejuvenate them.
They're still a top-5 team. Don't lose hope folks.

If Sipp should give up a run here, I wouldn't hold it against him. He's being used way beyond his normal parameters.

Back in the off season, it was clear that Gipp needed to work the top of the zone more. That's exactly how he got that last strikeout.

Charlie can't be dominant all the time and he didn't have it tonight.........Our offense should have had at least 4 runs on the board in the first three innings. Our so-called big guns are shooting too many blanke

I think it's wise to give rotating rest to starters already known to be fragile (Keuchel, McCullers). Charlie just needs an extra day.

Sigh. What are looking for with two strikes? I didn't even really expect a hit from Altuve there or Correa here.
