Hopefully Javier can continue the success he has seen at Yankee stadium and build off his last performance. His stuff looked so much better in his last outing. We are once again facing a pitcher our team has never seen, outside of Abreu. Abreu has two at bats against Schmidt.
Going for 4 straight wins!

The Yankees offense is absolutely horrific outside of Judge, and their pitching (other than Cole and Holmes) is mediocre at best.
There's no good excuse to not take this series.

Since being moved back to the 2-hole several games ago, Pena is hitting: .313/.389/.406 .795 OPS
Every time he has been placed in the 2-hole for 5 or more games this year, he has had an OPS of .795 or better.
Last year hitting 2nd, he did this: .290/.315/.522 .837 OPS
Let's hope Dusty leaves him there.

Was at the game yesterday. I think I am 8-1 for 2023, 8-0 if you don’t count the loss against me, in the extra innings loss to the Tigers, we left in the ninth.
My youngest boy is now 14-0 lifetime for games attended…he wasn’t there for the Tigers game earlier this year
