Sale vs. Urquidy
Team OPS+: 104
Team ERA+: 112
They really need to keep this momentum. The Rangers are off today, so another win ties us for 1st place again. Urquidy looked good his last outing, but I have a feeling that we're really going to need the bats to show up... Sale's ERA isn't great, but his strikeout numbers are still good. Most of our guys haven't faced him before, and out of the few that have only Altuve has had success, but Altuve has fallen into a (hopefully brief) mini-slump.
They just need to keep focusing on making plays and minimizing the mental mistakes. Put the ball in play and force this bad defensive Red Sox team to make plays. Imo, they need to feast on Devers and push some bunts his way.

That would certainly have to be a good confidence boost after the weekend series with Seattle. To go through that and then move into 1st place... |

The Mariners did this also last year. Mediocre most of the year, then got really hot and made the playoffs. Anyways, the White Sox thankfully tied it back up. Just win it right now.
