On paper this is a lopsided pitching matchup, but we sure looked bad yesterday so who knows... I heard somewhere that over the last few weeks, the only games we've won are when we scored 6 runs or more. I'm not going to go back and verify but it sounds accurate...

I'd really like to see Bregman and Yordan reach the 100 RBI mark... Might be tough for Yordan but he's been heating up lately.

That made me look back on the schedule and oh my goodness. The last time we won a game in which we scored less than six runs was August 2 against Cleveland. We are 0-16 in games in which we have scored less than six runs in the last five and a half weeks. Since the beginning of June, we are 13-35 in games in which we have scored less than six runs. My word. |
