The defense might be the worst part of the team. At least there are reasons to fail with hitting and pitching. The lackadaisical defense is ridiculous.

So this team crawls back in to the game to within one run. Just for the pitching to allow more runs. This pitching staff just cannot have easy innings where they put up zeros.

That Neris tumble to secure a loss against the worthless Royals was like a nightmare flashback to the 2010-2014 era. Would have fit right in the lowlights reel with Villar faceplanting into that dude's butt sliding into second base.

With all that goes wrong with the team, the worst by far is the defense. I don’t know why they even bother to wear gloves.

I think that the most motivational thing as well as overall best thing for the club would be for Dusty to go out there in the clubhouse and tell the guys that this is his last year and that he would love to go out on top but most of all he loves that the Astros are the last team that he associated with in Baseball. Then the players can decide if they have it in them to repeat.
