With his moves at the end of the trade deadline, probably put the organization back a few more years. Perry was desperate at the trade deadline with so many injures, but he did get O'Hoppe in trade last year. and he has a few players from last years and this years draft making an impact on the MLB level. Neto although being on the IL and only in 79 games has 9 HR and plays above average defense. Schanuel was playing college baseball in April, and has been on base in his first 27 games as a ML 1Bman. Perry should maybe stick to the draft and leave the trades alone.
It's truly too bad Arte reversed course and kept the team.

How many times is Nevin going to run out that POS Herget in relief in the Ranger series. No more than 6 and probably a lot fewer. Herget won't be back next season and l doubt Nevin will either. You may not like it but l hope the Angels lose every game the rest of the way so they're in the bottom 6 teams, which would give them their best odds in the draft lottery... |
