So did anyone else watch the new "documentary" on the 2017 Astros? It had zero new real information in it.
The only interesting thing to me was that it had one of the actual video guys in it explaining how things kind of started.
Spoiler alert:
1. It was Cora and Beltran's idea, but mostly the whole team and coaching staff supported it outside of Altuve.
2. Luhnow is still unapologetic and denies any involvement and is part of an investor group buying up soccer teams in Spain.
3. The Astros are still awesome despite it.

Originally I wasn't going to, but they interviewed the guy on the A-Team radio show yesterday and they claimed it was a very down-the-middle tell the bigger story than just the sign-stealing. Well it told more than just the sign-stealing, but it was still basically all Astros. A lot of talk about Luhnow's approach and building of the analytics and ruthless approach. |
