Rangers sweeping gives us the primetime slot tomorrow night.
Jose Urquidy vs. Joe Ryan has been announced as the starting matchup. Presumably J.P. France will be available out of the pen if Urquidy gets into trouble early.
Astros saw Ryan twice during the regular season: April 8th (6.0 IP, 4 ER, 3 H, 1 BB, 10 K), and May 30th (4.0 IP, 5 ER, 4 H, 3 BB, 6 K)
Good results, but he misses a ton of bats so there's always a chance he can just shut you down. Gitter done so we can get some days of rest, as the Rangers will have plenty.

Urquidy is the bigger concern to me. I hope they keep him on a short leash. He looked better his last two outings, but he's been mediocre to bad the last two seasons. He's been solid overall in his postseason career though.

I have faith in Urquidy. Not trying to look ahead but the Rangers offense worries me.

I have faith in Urquidy. Not trying to look ahead but the Rangers offense worries me. It's definitely a good lineup. But, outside of Braddish, the Baltimore pitching really isn't that good. Same with the Blue Jays. They have some solid pitchers but only Gausman really pitched at an ace level this year. With Verlander, Framber, and the resurgence of Javier, our top-3 *should be* better than those others. And our bullpen, outside of one bad inning from Neris, has been dominant again for a while now and they're well-rested. (Plus Dusty is handling the bullpen in a much less conservative manner which is good for the postseason.) Not to mention that our lineup can be just as good as theirs. We've averaged almost 6 runs per game this series. It should be a good matchup....hopefully in our favor.

The guy melts down when a couple runners reach and is a terrible fielder.

And, outside of Atlanta beating the living p*ss out of him in 2021, he has been very good in the postseason.

I had a feeling Urquidy wasn’t the answer as the game 4 starter.

Urquidy is a scary combo of strike-throwing and flyball-inducing.

Brantley is a great hitter. It’s just a shame his body usually fails him.
