Win the series today, and then have another rest day. Let's see a big get-right day from the offense.

Oh great. Another starter issue. CJ scratched with neck discomfort. Hunter Brown starting in his place.

Day off for Diaz and hopefully many days off for Abreu. Singleton and Carantini in there.

With the lineup changes today, maybe we can catch lightning in a bottle here.

Two weak bloopers and we're already losing.

Nothing frustrates me more than watching Hunter pitch. Especially with the stuff he has.

I need to be done with this team for a while until they get their crap together. Just for the sake of my mood, lol.

I think it's time to just admit that we're not good this year.

I think it's time to just admit that we're not good this year. Hey folks, not a regular poster by any means but it's been a busy year with a change of job. Always lurking and enjoy the comments. I had the same feeling about this team after the opening series sweep by NY at home. Reminded me of the 2007 opening series sweep by the Pirates. We never recovered. I don't see a sense of urgency with this group and not sure if the change of manager has anything to do with it or not. Of course, it's April and you never rush to judgment or panic, but it just feels like we could be sellers at the trade dead line this year to start the rebuild.

So, the narrative by the front office is that the team had a rough schedule to start the season. What’s the excuse for losing to the Nats?

I don’t want our run to end. Also, it’s still early. However, maybe this is the year we sell off some aging/soon to be FA talent to help restock the farm. I wouldn’t mind injecting some talent in our farm system. I think we could still compete next year even with a few trades.
