He kept the Posters on their toes I must say. Some of it was quite hilarious.

If PoP shows up I'm probably out of here. I don't remember the guy. You need to stay though Saint.

thorpedo , why don't you introduce yourself and participate in the conversation, rather than lurking. Even if you're a troll or fan of another team, you can still play on our field. Do as you wish, but one of the best ways to scare lurkers away is to call them out. You can lead a lurker to a message board, but can't make him post.

If PoP shows up I'm probably out of here. I guess this PoP character is one I don't remember..Who the heck is he and why anyone be afraid of him? No one should be afraid of him. He was a person who would spam topics and posts all day. When he was on his good behavior, he was tolerable, but once he was set off there was no stopping him. He took things a bit too far sometimes in the personal attacks as well. At times it felt like he was a robot with the amount of posts he would create. And there was nothing you could do to talk him down. Some trolls aren't looking for anything logical. He couldn't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. You'd probably like him.

Guy tried to make people believe he Tom Petty. Also took his religious zeal to extremes. Had an uncanny knack of pissing people off. Almost as much as Ghick.

I am not sure why you think I would like him, but, I doubt that I would...........sounds like that illiterate clown, texascolt, or a couple of morons who posted on the old Rangers board.

No reason to be afraid of him but he is legitimately a little crazy and an asshole. I mean...a lot of us are assholes here, but he kicked it up a notch.

I would wager that Bortaz would zot that nut job if he even remotely showed up. I'd enjoy Sinclair starting another thread like that. Starting first with Ghost of PoP. I must have been one of the few who weren't bothered by PoP's eccentricities. In fact, I have a copy of his children's book, Albie the Albatros. And I've already explained WHY you weren't bothered by your...I mean PoP's eccentricities.

another time I remember PoP getting upset was he created a thread called Bowls to talk about the college football season, and everyone started posting about KFC bowls, chicken and biscuits on the thread. My god he blew a gasket over that one I would wager that Bortaz would zot that nut job if he even remotely showed up. You can safely bet your entire retirement fund on that one.

I remember the guy. He was allegedly Tom Petty, he was thinking about buying the team, he was a supposedly a world-renowned author, etc. Then he got into some creepy stuff, like having below consent-age teenage girls dry him off after bathing. Very much into Catholic catechism. I thought the guy was mentally ill, personally.

Marshall, you can tell it's wasn't you by your writing style. If you were PoP, the style would have slipped and it would have been a dead giveaway. Unless you truly are a magnificent writer. LOL

If PoP shows up I'm probably out of here. I don't remember the guy. You need to stay though Saint. I believe he changed his handle from Prince of Pop to One Prince before he disappeared. The guy supposedly owned a business in China. Bragged about all the money he made by using cheap Chinese labor. Posted frequently about the expensive restaurants he dined at recently and dropped names of the rich and famous he associated with. He was either full of himself or full of chit....maybe both.

What, exactly, is someone supposed to be scared of?

Linda and him got into a virtual war and she kept demanding I take her side while I was trying to stay out of it. I liked both if you could make allowances for their personality quirks.
ps Other boards I frequent have the Quote/Reply options at the bottom so I keep quoting the wrong posters. I see a few others do as well.

He's a cool guy. Very easygoing personality. Hard to provoke. Reasonable in arguments. He was like a less robotic version of Travis.
