Once again, I ask if Hader will ever live up to his contract. No. A good reliever will pitch like 60-70 innings a year. That's like a third of a really good starter. Imagine what a good starter would have to do to earn a $50+ million per year contract. Paying more than 10-12 million for a reliever is just bonkers IMO. Hader's ERA is 4.15. Just two years ago he finished the year with a 5.22 ERA. Five twenty two! Another bonehead move from Crane. |

Still a solid road trip where we gained a little more ground on the division. Hopefully after a day off and we can get our full lineup back out there (minus Tucker) feeling better.
