They basically gifted this game to us. Our 1-2-3-5 hitters went 1-16. Similar to yesterday. It won't matter who we have pitching if our best hitters (outside of Yainer) don't start contributing. I often wonder if they have a meeting and decide they are to go hitless or have a brake out game and hit for a change. It is uncanny how the whole team can go completely useless at the plate at times and then they will have a game where everyone gets on base but one player. |
