I didn't even realize how bad things had gotten with the White Sox. They just lost their 18th game in a row. They are 3-24 over their last 27 games. They are 15-56 over their last 71 games. They are on pace to go 39-123 this season. That would be worse than the 1962 Mets in their inaugural year. Woof.

20 game losing streak, wow. They also had a 14 game losing streak earlier this year. If you took those 34 losses out of their record, they would still have the worst winning percentage in baseball. Truly new depths of failure.
Phillies in 1961 lost 23 in a row, the worst streak in the modern era. All time record is 26 by the 1889 Louisville Colonels.
