Keep winning because the Mariners are on a little run themselves.

And everyone wanted Yandy but his OPS is down to .726... May have dodged a bullet there.

You wouldn’t think the Astros would be in position for the rest of the season and playoffs with him? Plus next year, and the team option to keep him in 2016 for $12M?

It depends on what we would have had to give up. But at this point, he's not that big of an upgrade over a Singleton/Dezenzo mix.

Finally we're seeing what this 1-4 can do when they all start hitting. Imagine if we can ever get Tucker back...

I like what I’m seeing on offense and pitching.

Great start by Framber. He deserved both the QS and scoreless ball. Thanks, León.

Kaleb Ort: 10 IP, 12 K, 3 H, 1 BB, 1 ER Did we fix him? Is it just a lucky hot streak? Was he always good but had horrible luck and nobody had faith?

Kaleb Ort: 10 IP, 12 K, 3 H, 1 BB, 1 ER Did we fix him? Is it just a lucky hot streak? Was he always good but had horrible luck and nobody had faith? Time will tell. His stuff was always this good, but he had command issues. And maybe he still does; it's 10 innings, after all. But if the small sample is any indication, he's made real improvements. If nothing else, his pitch usage has shifted dramatically; his slider usage has been cut almost in half, along with a small reduction in four-seam fastballs, and he's thrown about 4x as many cutters and 2-3x as many changeups. This had led to his MLB strikeout rate finally looking like his minor league strikeout rate. Could be a relief version of Hunter Brown and Kikuchi, small changes in pitch selection leading to breakouts. Or the league could adjust to him. We'll see.
