Another very tough matchup today. Wheeler is having an excellent year, and Blanco has been pretty human since his last start in June (4.42 ERA). We did pretty well against Wheeler in the 2022 WS, but we have a lesser lineup now with no Tucker, and weaker versions of Bregman and Altuve...
They need to get Whitcomb in the lineup over Chas. I know he doesn't have much experience in the OF, but surely he can manage a corner OF spot well enough.

Yordan is playing but Altuve is out. Altuve just had a day off and DHed recently so hopefully it's just a day off after a frustrating game yesterday... Whitcomb is at 2B.

We have to upgrade the OF next year. Meyers should bunt Everytime runners on and there are less than two outs. So bad.

Awful. Gave two away against Baltimore. Now another one run loss in extras with your massive-salaried closer. One run loss after decided to sit one of your best hitters, when Tucker is still nursing his bruise from sixteen years ago. Now you're 2-5 over the last seven games and Seattle is hanging right in there.
